Project Brief
QRTagit is a mobile app that helps users keep track of their valuable items. The app allows users to add items to their inventory, track the location of their items, and mark items as lost. If an item is marked as lost, the app will send the user a notification if the item is found.
Team Structure
I collaborated closely with the senior UX designer to ensure the success of the project.
I was open to feedback, focusing on the user experience, communicating effectively, and working together to meet the deadline.
My Role
Creating the user personas, app navigation, user flow, wireframes, and high-resolution design) while guaranteeing it fulfills the requirements of the intended users.
Problem Statement
In today's fast-paced world, parents often face challenges in effectively ensuring the safety and well-being of their children, especially in various environments. There's a need for a reliable solution that empowers parents with real-time vitals monitoring, location tracking, and instant alerts, offering them peace of mind while their children are away.

By posing "How Might We" questions, we encouraged ourselves to look beyond the surface of the problem and delve into potential design solutions. It provided us with a structured framework to brainstorm ideas, explore various possibilities, and open up a dialogue for innovative solutions.

The Solution
SafeBit is a cutting-edge application designed to address the concerns of parents by providing a comprehensive safety and monitoring solution. With real-time vitals monitoring, parents can keep track of their child's health and receive immediate alerts in case of any irregularities. The location tracking feature allows parents to know their child's whereabouts at all times, promoting a sense of security. Instant alerts ensure that parents are notified promptly in critical situations, enabling them to take swift actions.
My Design Process
I used the Double Diamond Design Process for this project
Define: Developing personas, use cases and scenarios
Discover: Research to get more insight about the problem
Develop: Feature categorization, user flow, wireframing
Deliver: High fidelity mockups, prototype, testing, feedback
Conclusion
Numerous revisions and adjustments were needed for both the user journey and the visual layout. As I lacked comprehensive knowledge of the technical elements involved in developing the scanning feature, I delved into additional research, which gave me valuable insights and enabled me to maintain simplicity while considering the needs of both users and developers.
